Wide Turndown
Variable-area and steam-atomising designs achieve control across turndown ratios exceeding 50:1.
SAMHWA
Precise steam temperature control through engineered water injection and rapid atomisation.
SAMHWA desuperheaters control superheated steam temperature by injecting finely atomised cooling water directly into the steam flow. Our range spans simple fixed-nozzle units to variable-area, steam-assisted and probe-style designs able to control within 3 °C of saturation across wide turndown.
Correct desuperheater selection is critical to downstream equipment protection. Our engineers analyse steam velocity profiles, straight-run lengths, water quality and control philosophy to select and size the optimal technology for each installation.
Variable-area and steam-atomising designs achieve control across turndown ratios exceeding 50:1.
Temperature control to within 3 °C above saturation with fast-response thermal sleeves.
Stellited and hardened internals for high-pressure letdown and abrasive feedwater services.
Supplied with spraywater control valves, thermowells and complete steam-conditioning skids.
In-line venturi, probe-type and elbow-mounted configurations to suit existing pipework.
Optimised droplet spectra ensure complete evaporation within the shortest possible absorption length.
